What is the SEEDS Community Private Practice?

SEEDS Community Private Practice offers affordable therapy services for children, teens, adults, couples, and families throughout Orange County, Long Beach, and via telehealth. Our therapists integrate Christian values when desired by the client while providing professional, evidence-based mental health care.

Who can receive services through the SEEDS Community Private Practice?

We serve individuals ages 5 and older, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. You do not need to attend a Christian school or church to receive services.

Do I need to be Christian to receive SEEDS therapy?

No. We welcome individuals and families from all backgrounds and beliefs. Our therapists respect each client’s values and preferences. Christian faith can be incorporated into counseling if desired.

Where are SEEDS in-person therapy sessions located?

SEEDS offers therapy services at multiple locations throughout Orange County and Long Beach, making it easier for individuals and families to access care close to home. We currently provide in-person therapy in Laguna Hills, Orange, Anaheim Hills, Anaheim, Brea, Huntington Beach, and Long Beach. We also offer telehealth appointments when clinically appropriate.

How can I support SEEDS?

There are many ways to support SEEDS, including prayer, financial giving, volunteering, partnerships, and helping spread awareness about our services. Your support helps us continue providing accessible mental health care to children, families, and communities.

How Therapy Works at SEEDS

What types of concerns do you help with?

Our therapists support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, behavioral concerns, self-esteem issues, trauma, and many other mental health concerns.

Do you offer telehealth or virtual therapy sessions?

Yes. Telehealth services are available for many adult clients and may be available for other populations depending on clinical appropriateness.

How long are therapy sessions?

Most therapy sessions are approximately 45–50 minutes long. Family and couples sessions may vary depending on clinical needs.

How often will I meet with my therapist?

Most clients begin with weekly sessions. Your therapist will work with you to develop a schedule that best supports your goals and needs.

How are parents involved in their child’s therapy?

Parent involvement is often an important part of the therapy process. Your therapist will discuss appropriate ways to involve parents while also respecting the child’s privacy and therapeutic relationship.

Does SEEDS provide services in court-related matters?

SEEDS does not provide services in court-related matters. We do not provide custody evaluations, testimony in lawsuits, workers’ compensation or disability evaluations, or ESA evaluations and letters. If you need these services, please request a referral to a local forensic specialist.

What if I am unsure whether therapy is right for me or my child?

Payment and Coverage

Do you accept insurance?

SEEDS is a private-pay practice. However, we can provide superbills for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider. We do accept both HSA and FSA payments for therapy services.

Do you provide superbills for reimbursement?

Yes. Superbills can be provided for clients seeking possible reimbursement through their insurance provider.

How much do sessions cost?

We offer a range of therapy options to help make counseling accessible for different needs and budgets. Session fees typically range from $85–$185, based on the therapist’s level of credentials.
